Day 1 – Ostia Antica and the medieval village
The first day is dedicated to the discovery of Ostia Antica, one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in Italy. It is recommended to start the visit early in the morning, spending about three hours exploring the ancient streets, the Roman Theater, the Baths of Neptune and the Forum, immersing yourself in the daily life of ancient Rome.
After the visit, it is ideal to stop for lunch in the nearby village, where you can taste typical dishes of the Roman tradition. In the afternoon, a walk through the medieval village allows you to discover authentic corners and the suggestive Castle of Julius II.
The day ends by moving towards the Lido di Ostia, where you can enjoy an aperitif at sunset by the sea and dine in one of the restaurants on the seafront.
Day 2 – Relaxation at the Lido di Ostia
The second day is dedicated to relaxation and seaside life at the Lido di Ostia. The morning can start with a few hours on the beach, choosing a beach club to relax or taking a walk along the seafront.
For lunch, it is recommended to stop at a sea-view restaurant to savor fresh fish dishes, such as spaghetti with clams or fried seafood.
